9 months already

I can't believe my little guy is already 9 months old. How time flies. He's such a joy in our house (now that he's mobile!) It's so fun to see how his personality differs from Caden's. He loves to cuddle and relax with Mom and Dad. He loves his food (as you can tell!) and would eat anything you put in front of him. He loves being outside and sits pretty well in the stroller (he loves a change in scenery). He is enjoying the car a lot more lately, but I think he'll like it better when he can actually see the movie instead of just hear it.

I love his cheesy grin (mostly because it reminds me of my Dad!) and how he bites his bottom lip when he smiles!

I love ya Chunker Munker!! I'm so blessed to have you as my little man!! Thanks for bringing such joy and happiness to our family!

Taking Advantage

Jay and I decided to take advantage of the BEAUTIFUL weather outside tonight and take the boys for a walk. It was so nice to put sweats and a jacket on. I love the cold weather and putting nice warm sweats on!

Caden trying to scare Keegan with Daddy's Halloween mask.

My happy boy! He loves to get out of the house (I think he gets that from his Mom!). New surroundings are very soothing to him.

Daddy and his boys!

Mommy and her boys!

Hopefully the weather stays so beautiful and perfect so we can enjoy many more walks to come!

No wonder..

I can't get anything done around the house. Because everytime I start doing something, this happens...

He's a mama's boy all the way.. (A little too much sometimes! HA!) I'm sure I'll miss it SOMEDAY!

Why does he have to be so MEAN.....

How can a boy this sweet be so mean!

Caden is a sweet boy with an even bigger heart. He has the best of intentions and loves his little brother, but boy can he be rough with him. I don't know if it's because they are boys or siblings or what, but I will be surprised if Keegan makes it to his 1st birthday without any battle wounds! The second I walk away from them Caden starts hitting and beating Keegan. It started with pushing and shoving now and again, then it was cutting his arm with wire cutters, sitting on him and punching his belly, and then slamming him with the door, but today takes the cake. I heard Keegan screaming hysterically and ran into his room to see Caden pulling on a beaded necklace that was wrapped around Keegan's neck. I about jumped out of my skin when I saw it. After examining Keegan and realizing he was OK I took a minute to talk with Caden. He didn't seem bothered by the situation or by Keegan's crying, just upset because he wanted the necklace and Keegan wouldn't give it to him. I know he has good intentions, but yikes!

He has his moment's where he is the sweetest boy in the world and then he decides to get rough. I'm not liking the rough side. I love when he's sweet and telling Keegan, "It's OK Chunker don't be sad!" or when he says that Daddy is his best friend. I mean, where is that kid when he's hitting Keegan. It's going to be a long road with these two.

Keegan is going to be one tough boy after Caden's through with him. I just hope Caden watches out because Keegan is going to be bigger than him real soon and paybacks are no fun!!

Trick or Trunk

Caden is very adamant about the fact that it's Trick or Trunk not Trunk or Treat. So we had our ward Trick or Trunk tonight. Caden had a blast walking around and saying trick or treat.

Hanging with the loot!!

Keegan with Caden's wings on. Caden doesn't like to wear his wings for some reason. I think they make the costume but he seems bothered by them. So we let Keegan try them on for size! He looks like something out of the Wizard of Oz. HA!

Thinking he's some cool guy!

My sweet boys after a long night of trick or trunk! SO sweet!!

Pumpkin Carving

We finally got around to carving the pumpkins we got at the pumpkin patch. Caden was so excited to scoop the guts out and make a big mess.

Gotta love that face!

Daddy did an awesome job carving the little goblin man. Way to go Daddy!! Caden was so proud of his and Daddy's pumpkin!

Checking it out with the light in it. You can't tell in the picture that it's dark outside and that there's a light in the pumpkin.

Our fun pumpkin. It's Caden's first year with a real pumpkin and it's definitely a great one.
