Brothers!!

Since I've been home, Caden is taking full advantage of sleeping in and hanging out in his pj's til noon. One of his favorite things is to get up and watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse in his jammies. Well, this morning I decided to get a picture of both boys in their jammies watching tv. I just love those two!! I've been trying to decide if Caden and Keegan look that much alike. Sometimes I think they do and sometimes I think they look totally different. So, I found a picture of Caden in this outfit and took a picture of Keegan in it to see how similar they looked.

I must say, they are definitely brothers to me!!

Adventure to the Park

Ever since we got our double stroller Caden has wanted to take it for a walk to the park. I just kept telling him that when Keegan came out of Mommy's tummy we could take the stroller to the park. Little did I know he wouldn't let me forget it. I guess it doesn't help that the stroller is sitting in the garage so he see's it everytime we go in there. Today we definitely needed some time out of the house before he drove both Jay and I bonkers, so off to the park we went.

This is of course how much fun Caden had at the park. He loves it and it's the perfect way for him to work off some of that extra energy he seems to always have!!
And this is how much fun Keegan had at the park. He definitely was not having it. He did good when the stroller was moving, but the second I stopped pushing it, he let me know he wasn't happy!! Hopefully he gets used to it soon - we have lots more adventures to the park in our future!!

He's Here!!!

Welcome to the world little man. Keegan Allen Bott was born February 12th at 5:13 pm. He weighed 7lbs 11 oz & was 20.5 in long. It was a long time coming and who ever says your labor is shorter with the second child was definitely lying to me. This one was 17 hours long and Caden was only 11 hours. Apparently my kids would rather stay in the nice, warm belly! But we are so glad he's here and he is such a good baby. I have to wake him to eat every 3.5 hours and he goes right back to sleep. Which is kind of nice right now, since big brother is sick!! Jay had to spend the day with Caden while I was at the hospital with Keegan! The fun has just begun!!

Our little family just grew by 1. Awe!!

Caden is so proud to be a big brother!! He is so cute with Keegan. He was so excited to come see him at the hospital and ran right over to him and gave him a kiss. Now whenever Keegan cries, Caden gets a really sad look on his face and wants to know why he's crying. What a good big brother - looking out for the little one already!

Princess for a Day!!

My family must have sensed that this week was a bit um, shall I say, crappy!! Gotta love being at the end of your pregnancy!! Well, they all had me fooled and threw me a surprise shower. It was more of a pamper the mother to-be kind of a shower - and I must say - it's the best idea when your 37 weeks along!! My family was all there, well the girls anyway, and we got to hang out, have some lunch and just enjoy each others company. Oh and I got spoiled a bit too (but that's the idea isn't it!)

I was also lucky to have my best friend there, since it's been forever since I saw her last!! I love ya Jam..

But I just wanted to say - thanks to all of you who came and pampered me today!! It couldn't have come at a better time! And I love all of you - you guys are the best!!!
