California - here we come...
We were able to go visit Josh and Holly over Labor Day and enjoy spending time together and attend Kate's baby blessing.. We had a blast!! I was VERY surprised that Keegan remembered their house (from March when he fell) and he wouldn't even go inside when we got there. He just stood on the front porch saying NO over and over again! Poor kid! I guess he's never going to forget that day! Thankfully our trip came and went with no ER trips! Yeah!! We had a blast visiting and the kids had so much fun together. I forgot how well Caden, Lily and Breya got along and Keegan made himself right at home with them.
Baby Kate in her beautiful blessing dress! Josh did such a great job on the blessing. It would have been even better if I could have stayed to hear it. As soon as my dad got up to stand in the circle Keegan started screaming Big Al over and over again. I finally had to take him out in the hall (laughing the whole way). At least no one there will ever forget my dad's name!
We were able to go to the Build A Bear @ Down Town Disney. The boys had a blast there and LOVED picking out clothes for their dogs. Of course Caden had to pick Buzz Lightyear and Keegan went for Mickey Mouse.
I just LOVE this picture. We were swimming at Josh and Holly's house and Keegan was very upset because I took him out of the pool. His lips were turning purple from being cold and I thought a nice warm towel would help! However he did not like the idea that everyone else was swimming and going down the water slide. Sorry bud!

Mini Me
This little man cracks me up. He definitely pays WAY too much attention to Jay and I. We were out shopping this weekend and when we got out of the car we saw this!! He was talking to Prime (Optimus Prime from Transformers - he got a new transformer phone!) and was telling him we were going into Bed Bath and Beyond and that Bumble Bee should meet us there! I couldn't stop laughing - the whole time we were in the store he would pull out his phone and talk to all the different transformers. Once in a while he would say the phone was for me and he'd start cracking up when I started talking to them! He has such a great imagination!! It's amazing what fun can be had with a $3 toy phone!

They grow up WAY too fast!!
I sometimes hate that my little guys grow up so fast! It seems like yesterday he was a new tiny baby and now he's like a little man. He turned 18 months yesterday and I can't believe it. But 18 months is a big milestone - Nursery!! Yeah!! I can't wait. Since Jay and I teach the Sunbeams, having Keegan in nursery will be a huge help. Such a bittersweet moment for me. I love having a baby around, but I love my toddlers too.. Except the ones that talk back or don't listen (yeah Caden's been great at that lately!) But I love them all just the same. Here's a few recent pics of how Keegan's grown so much!!

He's such a sweet boy who adores his big brother! It's so cute to watch him follow Caden everywhere he goes and do what he does. They are definitely going to be the best of friends and I love it. Keegan is still a mommy's boy and I hope that never changes. I love hearing him call for me over everyone else (most of the time!). He melts my heart and has me wrapped around his little finger. He's talking my ear off and will pretty much say anything Caden says. His new favorite things are transformers (cause brother likes them), the Rhino and bikes (surprise, surprise) and popcorn. Yes popcorn - he could eat it all day long. Unfortunately he has my taste buds and is VERY picky with food and stubborn like his uncle Jeff so meal times have become very interesting to say the least. He definitely keeps like interesting and me on my toes. I wouldn't have him any other way! I feel so blessed to have him as my own and can't wait to see what other exciting things the future will bring!

Cinders
We were lucky enough to join my family for one last trip before summer's end. We went up to the Cinders and enjoyed lots of riding, fun and cooler weather! We had such a great time and I'm so glad we were able to go. Caden is obsessed with bikes and has been ever since I can remember (maybe it has something to do with him having a Dunes/Dirt Bike room as a baby!) Well, Keegan hasn't had the opportunity to enjoy bikes like his brother so it was great seeing him enjoy them as much as the rest of us. I'm so glad my kids like bikes and riding. I have so many memories of riding and sand dunes trips as a kid, so I'm loving that my kids get them too.
Another goodbye
My brother Jeff and his family moved last week to Memphis TN. We are so bummed to have them go. My poor kids no longer have cousins close by to play with. I know they are excited to start a new adventure, but they will be missed greatly. I tried to snap a few pics of the kids before we left that night, but they weren't too into it.
Museum = Fun Believe it or not!!
One year older - and wiser too....
I couldn't let Jay's 30th birthday pass by without making a big deal about it - SO, I threw him a surprise party! Now, keeping a secret from Jay is not the easiest task! He does not like surprises or being the center of attention, but like I said, he turned 30! You can't let that go without doing something special! Now getting him out of the house without me was quite the task - I had to fake a back injury to miss cosmic bowling (I'm still bummed I didn't get to do that too!) and pretend like I didn't care that he was gone just about all day playing video games and hanging with friends. They did such a great job keeping him out of the house and allowing me to get things prepared (with the help of my sister of course! Couldn't have done it without her!)
And the moment finally came.... SURPRISE!!
