What a GREAT day!!

What's so great about today you ask??

These wonderful, scrumptious cookies:

I finally got my order of Girl Scout cookies today and I couldn't be more thrilled!! I am OBSESSED with these cookies and could seriously down a box by myself in a day easily! I crave these things all year round and definitely make up for it during cookie time.

SO - thank you to my little girl scout who so wonderfully had my cookies ready for me today!! You have truly made my day!!

Where Daddy goes....

little boys are sure to follow!! At least in our house they do. Caden and Keegan both adore their Daddy and follow him everywhere. They especially love to help Daddy with any task. It's so sweet to see them follow Jay around the house and beg to help! I'm so lucky to have such a great husband who is a terrific father. He adores those boys just as much as they adore him. I can only hope that they will turn out as wonderful as their Daddy!

Keegan helping in the yard. He's such an outside boy (thank goodness!)

Caden helping Daddy tear down our built-in entertainment center! Anything Daddy does he can do too!!

Til We Meet Again

My brother Josh and his family have recently decided to take on a new adventure with work. With that adventure comes moving to California. I'm so sad that they are going to be so far away, but I'm so happy for them too. The past few days Jay has been at their house helping pack and things (he used to be a professional mover so he has it down to a science!). Last night we all went over to the house for some fun hang out time and truck loading before they headed out this morning. The kids has a blast playing together as usual. I don't think Caden grasps the concept that Lily won't be there anymore to play. Although he and Lily already planned a trip for us to visit and go to Disneyland. Hopefully we can make that work in the near future!

Lily, Breya and Caden playing in the wagon!!

I finally got them to sit still for a picture! Definitely a moment to cherish!

We will miss you guys so much!! We wish you the best with your new adventure and love you guys tons!

1 already!!

I can't believe my little guy is 1 already. His official birthday is on the 12th, but we decided to have a little party with family on Saturday to celebrate. Aside from a bit of fussiness (teething can be so much fun!) I think Keegan enjoyed his party. He wasn't quite sure about the presents, but Caden made sure that they all got opened and broken in. Thanks to all our family for coming and celebrating with us.

My birthday boy. I can't believe how fast this 1st year went. He's not my baby anymore!

His Monkey Cake. I was very unsure about how this cake would turn out, but I guess it came out OK. Caden thought it was cool and Keegan actually ate some, so I figure I did pretty good.

Caden opened pretty much every present. Keegan didn't even get a chance to try and rip the paper, but he didn't seem to mind.

Beating on his drum! We love noisy toys at our house!!

Singing Happy Birthday. He did so good, he even started smiling at everyone while we were singing! Happy Birthday bubba boy!

NBA here we come!!!

Caden started his first session of organized sports starting with basketball. He has been anxiously awaiting the day when he was old enough to go to his "game" like Mommy and Daddy do. We were lucky enough to get him signed up with the city and he plays just down the road from our house. He was so excited to start playing and go to his practice. However, he didn't make it through without shedding lots of tears! He said that he had fun and wants to go back, so hopefully next Saturday he won't have the water-works on full blast!

My little guy before practice!

Getting ready with Daddy by his side. Thankfully is parent involvement!!

Lots of coaching by Daddy too!!

Showing off his dribbling skills, kind of.

The shooting stance! He does so well with shooting!

Standing in line to shoot! Yes, my kid is the one that's a head shorter than all the other kids! Poor guy!

Yes those are tears on his face! He was very upset that he didn't make a basket! He did pretty well for his first time. Hopefully it just keeps getting better because we signed him up for more!!

11 months gone already

I can't believe my little guy is 11 months. He's getting so big! He loves to walk and is enjoying the freedom it brings. He is babbling more and more each day and finally managed to get out an "uh oh" out! He's so sweet and loves to give kisses and laugh and play. He's learning to hold his own against Caden and push back when he can. The fun's just beginning!!

My Litttle Sunbeam

I can't believe my little guy is a Sunbeam this year. He doesn't seem big enough to be a Sunbeam, or mature enough for that matter. He's quite rowdy in Primary, but I'm hoping it will just take some time for him to get adjusted.
